Irvin Bud M. Peterson Jr. 1931 - December 20, 2011 Irvin Bud M. Peterson Jr., 80, of Humarock, formerly from Needham, December 20, 2011. Beloved husband of 56 years to Madlyn Peterson. Loving father of Daniel Peterson of Grafton, Brian and his wife Lisa of Coventry, RI, Kathleen Boyd and her late husband Stephen of Marshfield and Roberta Downing and her husband Steven of Marstons Mills and the late David Peterson. Also survived by his grandchildren Shelby, Brian Jr., James and William Peterson, and Zachary and Nicholas Downing. Brother of Jim Peterson of San Francisco, CA. Irvin served in the US Army for 20 years serving in Korea, Europe, and Vietnam. After leaving the service Irvin worked for the US Government as a Criminal Postal Inspector in Boston. A visiting hour was held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte 139, Marshfield, Monday, December 26th, and was followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ann by the Sea Church, 587 Ocean St., Marshfield.
