This is going to be one of the most exciting, interesting and educational
weeks ever offered at such reasonable cost. On Monday, your day

equipped motorcoach will pick you up at the Crowne Plaza. Your tour of
Philadelphia will include stops at the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall,
Congress Hall (with
an address by National Park Rangers) and a visit to the Document Room.

From Independence Hall we walk to Carpenter’s Hall (two blocks away)
and to Franklin Court (Post Office) and then on to Christ Church where
the group will listen to the docent of Christ Church. This bus/walk
tour will include drive-bys to interesting points in Center City. There
will be a stop at noon at the famous Reading Terminal Market for lunch
(on your own) at one of the many food stands with local specialties. After
lunch there will be a two hour guided tour of Valley Forge National Historical
Park. Your tour includes stops at the
Muhlenberg Brigade
Soldiers’ Huts and
George Washington’s
Headquarters. You will also see the National Memorial Arch,
Anthony Wayne’s Statue and the Grand Parade, where the Revolutionary
Army was trained by Baron von Steuben. |
Now, Tuesday your day begins with an early morning departure
from the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The first stop will be an Atlantic
City Casino Resort, where you will receive a voucher for slots
play. (The casino and amount of voucher will be determined at a
later date).![]() There is then a choice of remaining in Atlantic City to play or enjoy the famous Boardwalk, or to continue on to Cape May, NJ. You will have time to stroll and shop in the charming stores of Washington Street, view the Victorian architecture and visit the beautiful beaches of Cape May. Upon departure from Cape May, the coach will return to Atlantic City for the group pickup before returning to Philadelphia. Our business meeting and closing banquet follow on this evening with old friends and a fine meal. |

Wednesday (optional day) is a golf outing at
Cobbs Creek Golf Club. It will include 18 holes with a
