Hotel:
We have arranged for 45 rooms @ $109. per night at the Gateway Sheraton near the airport . The rate is good for Oct. 8 – 16. The cut-off date for this rate is Sept. 1, 2009, or when the 45 rooms are taken. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle to and from the airport as well as to shopping and eating venues within a 3-mile radius of the hotel. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served in the Hospitality Room that evening as well as a continental breakfast both Monday and Tuesday mornings prior to the activities. Refreshments will be available whenever the room is open ~ come visit with your friends and meet new ones.

| 11:00 am | Pick up participants who elected not to take the Tour of Atlanta from the hotel and bring to CNN, World of Coke or GA Aquarium. |
| 1:00 pm | Pick up participants at CNN, World of Coke or the Aquarium and bring to next venue or to the hotel. (For those who are able, walking from CNN to Wof C or Aquarium through Centennial Olympic Park is pleasant on a nice day. |
| 3:00 pm | Pick up participants at CNN, World of Coke or the Aquarium for return to the hotel. |
| 4:15 pm | Pick up participants at World of Coke or the Aquarium for final return to the hotel. |
Bus Tour of Atlanta:
Step-on-guides will narrate a 2-hour on-the-bus tour of Atlanta. Hear a running commentary of Atlanta’s beginnings as a railroad town and its eventual rise to prominence as the capital of the New South. Hear the history of and see the GA State Capitol, Underground Atlanta, Peachtree St., Centennial Olympic Park, Martin Luther King, Jr. Historic District, Turner Field, the Fox Theatre, the Margaret Mitchell House and more. The $31.00 charge includes the bus fee.

This 55-minute behind-the-scenes tour of the CNN TV Studio shows you exactly
what it takes to deliver the news to over 2 billion people worldwide. View
a live broadcast. This tour involves walking down 8
flights of stairs. (An escalator brings you up at the beginning
of the tour). A separate tour for those who cannot manage
the stairs or with your own walkers or wheelchairs
is available. Each handicapped person must be accompanied by a person who
can assist them through the tour. Please make a note on your registration
form if you need the handicap tour. Located at the SW end of Centennial Olympic Park.

LUNCH: This is on your own. The food court at the CNN Center has a
wide variety of fast food available as well as “Taco Mac” and “McCormick and
Schmick’s” restaurants (allow an hour to eat at the restaurants). The GA
Aquarium and The New World of Coca Cola have cafeterias.

This is the world’s largest aquarium with 8 million gallons of fresh and marine
water. It holds more aquatic life than found in any other aquarium. Five areas
are available for you to visit with touch and viewing tanks as well as overhead and
side viewing of a huge variety of fish. The GA Explorer and River Scout areas
have horseshoe crabs, sea stars, loggerhead turtles, alligators, otters, piranhas
and many other native species. Cold Water Quest and Ocean Voyager have giant
octopi, African penguins, beluga whales, whale sharks, spider crabs, manta rays,
leafy sea dragons and more. The Tropical Diver area has colorful reef species,
seahorses, jellyfish, eels and much more. The 4-D theater is a memorable
experience. Complimentary wheel chairs are available. Allow 2 hours minimum
for your visit. Located at the N end of Centennial Olympic Park.

This new and expanded facility houses exhibits that draw upon Coca-Cola’s rich history and timeless values of optimism and refreshment. Progress through areas exhibiting Coke artifacts, history, see a bottling line, experience a 4-D Theater, and more. Complimentary wheel chairs are available. It takes about 2 hours to visit this venue. Located next to the GA Aquarium at the N end of Centennial Olympic Park.

ATLANTA HISTORY CENTER:
Experience the colorful history of Atlanta through exhibits,
gardens and homes. Explore permanent exhibits on the Civil
War; Atlanta’s growth from Indian settlements through the Civil
Rights Movement; Southern folk culture including pottery,
weavings, quilts, furniture, ironwork and musical instruments;
the 1996 Olympic Games; Bobby Jones; and Philip Trammell Shutze’s
artifact gallery; six garden areas; two historic homes; as well as
temporary exhibits (TBA). Two wheelchairs are available
(first come basis).LENOX MALL / PHIPPS PLAZA:
Shop to your heart’s content. The bus will drop you and pick you up from Lenox, which has Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, Pottery Barn, Bloomingdale’s and more. Phipps Plaza is across Peachtree Rd. and has Nordstrom’s, Belks, Saks Fifth Avenue and more. The $25.00 fee is to cover the cost of the buses.
LUNCH: This is on your own. The Atlanta History Center has a Chick-fil-A
café and also a restaurant in the Swan Coach House, which serves lunch from
11:00 – 2:30. Lenox Mall and Phipps Plaza both have food courts as well
as restaurants.
GOLF:

Recommendations for lunch are the cafeteria at the Roosevelt Rehab campus or the Bulloch House in the town of Warm Springs (upscale). You will be responsible for your tickets at Warm Springs and or Callaway Gardens. (See below.) The $5.00 deposit is to cover gas and the use of private vehicles. Actual car cost will depend on vehicles used.

Little White House
and Museum with his 1938 Ford convertible, interactive
exhibits, a short film, and more. Motorized
scooters are available at this site. 2) The Smithsonian exhibit,
“Whatever Happened to Polio?”, is available at the
Roosevelt Rehabilitation
campus from 10 am – 3 pm. There is also a self-guided tour of this
site. The cafeteria here is open between 11 am and 1pm. 3) The
historic pools site, where FDR received relief from his polio via the
warm springs, has a small museum. Primary buildings are wheelchair
accessible. The town of Warm Springs has an historic village with shops
and restaurants. Motorized scooters are complimentary at the Little White
House. Please indicate on your registration form if you will require one.

(over 1000 tropical butterflies from over 50 species in all stages of
life cycle ~ watch out, a butterfly may land on you!!), the Sibley
Horticultural Center (displays of native and exotic plants within
a rock-wall garden, sculpture garden, fern grotto, conservatory
and outdoor garden), Virginia Hand Callaway Discovery Center, Mr.
Cason’s Vegetable Garden, Pioneer Log Cabin, and more. There are
restaurants on site. Nature trails are also available for those
interested and able (0.5 – 1.6 miles).
