KRAUTHEIM Bruce, 81, of Fair Lawn, NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.

Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, he proudly served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. Bruce was an avid stamp and coin collector. Prior to retiring in 1983, he was a postal inspector with the United States Postal Service in Newark for twenty-two years.

Beloved husband of Esther (Della Pesca) Krautheim. Loving and devoted father of Bruce Krautheim and wife, Cheryl, Karen Krautheim and husband, David Miller and Kenneth Krautheim and wife, Lesley. Cherished grandfather of Abigail, Elizabeth, Kathleen and Bryce Krautheim. Dear brother of Harriet Ambrogio and husband, Salvatore, Thomas Krautheim and wife, Joan and the late John Krautheim and his surviving spouse, Joan. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Inc., 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ, 201-797-3500.

A funeral service is planned for Saturday, October 31, 2009, 10 AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bruce may be made to the American Heart Association , 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
